The Coalition was pleased to present two powerful partnerships in La Plata County with the Collaboration Award. ELHI, Ignacio’s community center, and Thrasher Thursdays, a youth skateboard competition series, were the first to receive the Collaboration Award. The award is given to those engaging at least three sectors to accomplish a project/event/initiative/policy that goes outside their immediate organization and builds assets in a new and needed way.
